Today the Thorpe Park Club 236 was announced which gives all Merlin Passholders the chance to ride the first public train of Project Exodus.
Project Exodus is the 236 foot Mack Hyper coaster that is coming to the resort in 2024 and when opened will officially be the UK’s tallest roller coaster.
Club 236 is open to all passholders with four tiers of prizes on offer and all you have to do to enter is visit Thorpe Park throughout the 2023 season with your Merlin pass.
Naturally people local to the park will have an insane advantage over everyone else so for me the entry requirements seem a little bias towards locals but for those diehards who want to be one of the first people on the first train I’m sure sacrifices will be made.
There four different prize tiers, each with its own prizes and drawer entry requirements, each draw will take place separately for those who meet the requirements.
Tier 1 prize will include two front-row seats on the first public train of Project Exodus on opening day plus an overnight stay at the Thorpe Shark Cabins along with an evening meal, breakfast and Fastrack on the opening day.
Entrants for Tier one need to attend all four Thorpe Park 2023 seasonal events throughout the year including Mardi Gras, Carnival, Oktoberfest, and Fright Nights.
Tier 2 prize will include two seats on a row of their choice on the first public train of Project Exodus plus, an overnight stay at THORPE SHARK Cabins, an evening meal, breakfast and Fastrack on the opening day. This tier of prize will be awarded to the person who visits the park the most times between 18th March – 31st October.
Tier 3 prize will win two pre-allocated seats on the first public train of Project Exodus on opening day (date tbc). Plus, an overnight stay at THORPE SHARK Cabins, an evening meal, breakfast and Fastrack on the opening day. To be eligible for this prize you must visit Thorpe Park at least once between 18th March – 31st October.
Tier 4 prize will consist of 50 winners who will win four tickets to enter the main queue line for the ride ahead of the public on opening day. To be eligible you must visit the park at least once during the 2023 season.
Every visit made between 18th March and 31st October 2023 will count as one entry so the more times you visit the resort the better chance you have of winning.
Just scan your pass at the turnstiles and away you go! Thorpe will be logging all entries behind the scenes.
Personally, I can’t see anyone outside of London who isn’t local getting the ‘most visits award’ that would be very surprising as this competition is certainly leaning in favour of locals to the park but the other tiers are certainly up for grabs!
