Europa Park Austrian Area Revamp Concept Art Revealed

Alpine Coaster Enzian 2024

Back in June a devastating fire resulted in two rides being damaged in the Austrian area of the park. Today CEO of Europa Park Michael Mack has revealed concept art for the revamped area ahead of a triumphant 2024 return.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries during the blast at the park but no members of the public were harmed in the blaze but the quick turnaround from June to this area potentially reopening again even better than before is a testament to this incredible park.

Today Michael Mack took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share concept art for the redesigned Austria themed area and it looks absolutely incredible.

Not only will the park be opening a brand new rollercoaster (Voltron) in 2024 but these two rides will be back on the line-up and better than ever!

Austrian Themed Area Europa Park

The Tyrolean Log Flume and Alpine Coaster Enzian will return back to Europa in 2024 which further shows the commitment to park traditions and history to preserve these incredible rides.

Showcasing a picturesque landscape this vibrant area will feature waterfalls, rocks and even rope bridges for guests to walk across if the concept looks anything like the final version!

Natural beauty and rides combine to make Europa Park one of the best themed and most immersive theme parks I’ve ever had the joy of visiting.

Austria Europa Park

It’s a big year for Europa Park in 2024 with the opening of their first major roller coaster in 12 years and with this refurbished area and two more rides added to the line-up there’s even more reason to visit this incredible theme park next year!

Michael Mack also went onto discuss the Yomis characters (named after a Europa Park film) that will make an appearance in the new area in 2024 by saying:

Yomis Europa Park

Certainly, our lovely Yomis will be home in this new area. The Yomi Adventure Trail promises an entirely new experience to enjoy. Additionally, I’m delighted to announce that in spring 2024, we’ll release the first picture book with a wonderful story about the Yomis!
