Fantasy Island is marking 10 years under Mellors Group with the start of a new chapter for the 2026 season and some fresh new branding that will be dotted around the park for this upcoming year.
Since taking over in 2016, Mellors Group has continued to invest in Fantasy Island, helping it grow year after year. During that time, the park has welcomed new rides, fully refurbished bars, brand-new venues, bigger events and more entertainment – making it an even better day out for families, thrill-seekers and returning visitors.

2026 marks the next exciting chapter for the park as there will be fresh meaningful changes across the park such as refreshed signage, updated colours and a brighter more modern look being introduced across selected areas of the park.
Fantasy Island is a park that never ceases to amaze me. From the infamous market outside to the gloriously themed indoor space packed full of some of the best theme park eateries and dark rides the UK has to offer.

It’s great to see Mellors Group investing in Fantasy Island especially with their recent acquisition of Lightwater Valley and it’ll be very interesting to see what the next big ride investment will be at the park given that space is in short supply at the park.
Fantasy Island remains the same place people know and love – focused on thrills, family fun and creating great memories for everyone who visits.

This refresh forms part of Mellors Group’s long-term investment in Fantasy Island, ensuring the park continues to improve over time while staying true to its roots and its loyal fans.
Speaking about the refresh, Paige Harris-Scott, Strategic Brand and Partnerships Manager, said:
“This isn’t about changing Fantasy Island – it’s about showing how far we’ve come. Over the last 10 years, Mellors Group has invested heavily in the park, improving what we offer and the experience for our guests.
The 2026 refresh marks the start of the next phase. It reflects our ambition and our commitment to keep moving forward, while still delivering the fun and excitement people come here for.”
New events, new shows and entertainment are lined up for 2026 and further details regarding that will be announced in the coming weeks.
As you know Fantasy Island is free to enter so guests can enjoy all entertainment at no cost, you only pay if you choose to got on the rides.
The park reopens on Saturday 21st March, with the first major event taking place over Easter weekend (4th–6th April). Easter celebrations will include visits from the Easter Bunny and a full programme of FREE entertainment, including the brand-new Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime, an Easter Party Night at Captain Jack’s and a free fireworks display at Island Beach, right in the heart of the park.
After 10 years of growth and great memories, Fantasy Island is just getting started.
