I think it must be a slow news day over at Disney HQ as this may be the strangest press release I’ve had come through in a while.
Numerous celebrities visit Walt Disney World on a regular basis but today I had one through regarding England and Arsenal footballer Declan Rice who visited with his family after the World Cup campaign.
Speaking during his visit, Rice said:
“Now I’ve had a couple of days to reflect, captaining England and scoring in our final game of the tournament was incredibly special. My family have been on that journey with me every step of the way, so it’s been brilliant to switch off and spend this time together at Walt Disney World after an unforgettable summer.”
Looking relaxed and in high spirits, Rice and his family began their day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park by heading straight to Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, a recently launched experience.
The family then took on the park’s attractions, with Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Avatar Flight of Passage among their favourites. They also enjoyed Kilimanjaro Safaris and paused for family photographs in front of the iconic Tree of Life.
The adventure continued at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the family experienced almost every major attraction, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and stopped to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at Red Carpet Dreams.
They then headed to Toy Story Land, exploring Andy’s larger-than-life backyard and enjoying family favourites including Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania!
Before heading home, the family made a final dash to EPCOT to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind twice. Their two spins were soundtracked by “September” and “One Way or Another”, and the attraction was the unanimous favourite of the day.
“The kids have loved every minute – from meeting Bluey and Bingo and seeing the animals to stepping into the worlds of Star Wars and Toy Story,” Rice added. ”Walt Disney World is one of those places where everyone can relax, have fun and enjoy being together. We’ve made some really special memories that we’ll never forget.”
Not only has Declan visited Walt Disney World out of the England squad but teammate Dan Burn also came to Florida and said Cosmic Rewind was a highlight of his particular visit (we don’t blame him)
