Alton Towers Gardens Open June 6th Park Announces

Alton Towers Gardens

Alton Towers gardens will be open to the public June 6th as per an announcement from the park.

In the following statement the park said:

We’re delighted to confirm that we will be opening our Gardens from Saturday 6th June, in line with Government guidance on the reopening of gardens and land maintained for public use.

To ensure we keep everyone safe, tickets will need to be pre-booked online where you can also see all the hygiene and safety measures we’ll have in place so you have a safe and enjoyable visit.

We can’t wait to welcome you back!

The Gardens will open with limited capacity and restricted opening hours with additional hygeine and safety measures in place.

Here are some of the things that guests can expect:

  • Restricted number of guests, so everyone is being asked to book online in advance
  • Temperature checks on arrival at the Resort
  • Updated signage and social distancing markers on the Admissions plaza and other places around the Resort where people tend to gather
  • Sales of food and drinks will be limited to ‘grab and go’ items including hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams
  • All rides and other attractions remain closed in line with Government advice

At the time of this announcement the Alton Towers website went down from the sheer number of people wanting to pre-book tickets, for a garden…

I don’t think they read the statement correctly!

Garden tickets are priced at £12 which is fairly standard. Trentham Gardens pricing is £12 also.
