England’s funfairs, outdoor spaces and theme parks to reopen from July 4th it has today been announced.

Today’s announcement from Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reduced the two-metre social distancing rule down to one metre and allowed theme and adventure parks to reopen.

Reducing the 2 metre rule now allows rides to reach larger capacities and cut queue times down considerable.

Theme park fans rejoice as their favourite park will soon be reopening with all social distancing measures in place.

Hotels, restaurants, pubs, cinemas and hairdressers can also reopen whilst theatres and concert halls can open but without live stage performances.

Nightclubs, indoor gyms, bowling alleys, escape rooms and beauty salons must remain closed “for now” the prime minister said.

He also added:

“We’re today publishing guidance on how business can reduce the risk by taking certain steps to protect workers and customers.

“And these include, for instance, avoiding face-to-face seating by changing office layouts, reducing the number of people in enclosed spaces, improving ventilation, using protective screens and face coverings, closing non-essential social spaces, providing hand sanitiser, changing shift patterns so that staff work in set teams.”

Cinemas, museums and galleries will now be allowed to reopen also.

We’re finally getting things back on track for the new ‘normal’ and we cannot wait to visit everything this wonderful country has to offer!

We’ll be heading to Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach shortly after opening day with more parks to follow in the weeks thereafter.
