IMASCORE Alton Towers CD Release Hinted At In Cryptic Announcement

IMASCORE logo

An IMASCORE Alton Towers CD could finally be on the way!

So yesterday IMASCORE went all Black Mirror on us with their social media pages and released a cryptic video.

A strange little melody mix with some static and within that static the very following message:

IMASCORE The Smiler

For those who aren’t familiar with The Smiler roller coaster in Alton Towers the experimentation theming around the coaster hints that you now ‘belong’ to The Smiler as part of the testing you are undergoing as a subject.

As the video draws to a conclusion we get the faintest audio of The Smiler soundtrack also.

Tomorrow at 8 pm CET | 7 pm BST | 2 pm EST the first IMAdiary will premiere on IMAscore’s YouTube.

Will The Smiler be getting a new soundtrack announced?

My Thoughts

Whilst I can’t imagine the soundtrack will deviate too much from the iconic track we have currently I think this slight redesign will be for something else.

The Alton Towers IMASCORE soundtrack.

Fans have been wanting to get their hands on the Alton Towers soundtrack for some time now.

IMASCORE has already released their Thorpe Park soundtrack not to mention other parks they have done work for but the Alton Towers one never popped up for sale on their website.

After all this waiting I believe an IMASCORE Alton Towers CD will finally be released with this alternative Smiler soundtrack to be added to the compilation.

All will be revealed tomorrow on IMASCORE’s official YouTube page.

Stay Tuned!

EDIT

Alton Towers Soundtrack Double CD

IMASCORE announced on June 26th that an Alton Towers Soundtrack CD was in the works. Coming soon exclusively to Alton Towers before being released on the IMASCORE store also.

The presentation displayed IMASCORE’s latest horror, orchestral documentary and gaming soundtracks.

Theme park features included the Orion Gigacoaster soundtrack preview in addition to a Fantasiana soundtrack and an Area 51 soundtrack for Movie Park Germany.

The Alton Towers CD Soundtrack will contain 2 CDs and will feature never heard before tracks along with familiar favorites such as the Spinball Whizzer, Wicker Man, The Smiler, Galactica and the infamous entrance music.

Stay tuned to both IMASCORE and Alton Towers social media pages for the latest information on a release date.

Update – A rumoured Track list has been circulating online and 20th July rumoured as expected CD release date.
