A Southport Pleasureland Viking Pub and Golf Course are in the works as the park takes its first step of major investment.
After the park finally received a long-term lease for the site a multi-million pound redevelopment of the seafront theme park can now go ahead as planned.
The first step of the project will see a hotel and arena for indoor entertainment and new attractions will be spread onto the land current used as a car park.
One of these new additions will be a viking-themed development alongside an 18 hole mini golf course and restaurant.

This Longhouse styled restuarant will feature a central fireplace along with a barbecue area and outdoor terrace.
The golf course will consist of four zones: Boatyard, Marsh, Village Life and Market Place and will all revolve around Norse mythology.
A planning application has been submitted and if greenlit will create up to 1000 new jobs and a £25m projected boost to the local economy.
Hopefully we see the addition of more coasters at the park now that Roller Coaster has been standing but not operating throughout 2020 awaiting a part from Italian manufacturers Pinfari.
Having a selection of coasters will certainly broaden the horizons and ambitions of the park which we’re seeing glimpses of with this wonderful new Viking expansion.
