The Saatchi Gallery in London is bringing artifacts to the country for the Tutankhamun UK exhibition. This will be the last ever time the items will be on display before they return to Egypt forever.
This once in a lifetime opportunity to see these items up close and personal is being brought to the gallery this coming weekend. Over 150 pieces from the pharaoh’s tomb will be on display until May 2020.

That is all well and good until you see just how much the ticket prices are!
The exhibition is set to charge people £37.50pp for its show making it Britain’s most expensive exhibition. It looks as thou only pharaoh’s with deep pockets can attend this particular exhibition. Whilst it’s not extortionate compared to theme park entry prices for example, it does seem a bit steep for an exhibit of this kind.

An early preview of the event had reports that many large items were left in Egypt. Reports state that only smaller items are on display. Not even the death mask which heavily features on the posters and marketing materials is not present at the exhibition.
Would you pay £37.50 to see the Tutankhamun UK exhibition? Would you pay to see mostly tiny treasures from King Tut’s tomb?
