As theme park season draws to a close we wait eagerly for the start of the 2020 season.
Many parks in the UK forbid filming on rides without either strict permission or press day access. Two parks that have been incredible with us this year are Oakwood theme park in Wales and Flamingo Land. With that said, check out my Flamingo Land POV’s below.
Flamingo Land POV’s
Filmed on a bargain priced Victure AC600 we took some on-ride footage of some of the best rides Flamingo Land has to offer. For such a low price the Victure is a great camera that comes with an abundance of accessories. Perfect for a hobbyist like myself!

Kumali
In the Top 10 list for tallest coasters in the country this Vekoma inverted coaster has you dangling in the air and hanging for what seems like an eternity. You plummet towards the ground and then the infamous Vekoma shaking begins.
Mumbo Jumbo
Easily my favourite ride in the park and with the steepest drops of any coaster in the country it’s definitely one to check out! You fly up the lift hill and before you know it you’re working your way around the crazy Mumbo Jumbo framework.
Velocity
With the weirdest harness system i’ve ever seen Velocity is a bike launch coaster that hurtles you forward around the speedway. Certainly a unique coaster but after the launch and first hill it’s a little tame.
Lost River Ride
A 10-minute long river ride around the zoo gives you some great sights. We saw zebras, cheetahs and giraffe’s on our particular journey before ascending the lift hill and dropping into a tidal wave of epic proportions!
We hope to return in 2020 to grab a POV of their brand new Intamin 10-looping coaster!
