Brentwood’s House of Horrors underwent a revamp this year and turned into an escape room. The venue consisted of 13 different horror-themed rooms that have all have different levels of horror, ability and age ratings. For us, this seemed like a bit of a step down for the attraction as the previous 12 horror mazes and a 13th room so intense you needed to sign a waiver for was much more appealing.

Most recently thou, however, the website has disappeared and the social media accounts deactivated. Could this spell the end for House of Horror? We certainly hope its just part of a rebrand or some form of return under a different name or similar. At the end of the day, the original attraction was superb. The escape room direction was a questionable one indeed but if they reverted back to their roots it certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing.
I mean just check out a glimpse of room 13 from Kip Hakes video below:
We’ll keep you updated as and when we know more but we’re crossing our fingers that this isn’t the last we hear of House of Horror.
Did you visit the House of Horror before it transformed into an escape room? If so, let us know what you thought about it in the comments box below!

II am so sad that they decided to close it as I never had the chance to go to the escape room. I had heard so many good things about it from my friends so this is a shame.
