The UK’s ultimate family fun destination, Drayton Manor Resort is thrilled to announce the eagerly awaited opening of its newest land, Frontier Falls, set to debut on Sunday, March 24th 2024 just in time for the Easter break.
Images of the facades of many of the buildings that make up Frontier Falls were released today and they’re pretty darn impressive!
With a retro film set Western vibe this brand new colourful area pops with the vibrancy of the brightly coloured buildings that really brighten up those darker cloudy days.

Adventure Cove at Drayton Manor also utilises colour to perfection as even on a rainy day these areas pop and bring positivity to proceedings.
On those rare sunny British days this area is going to be incredible, just imagine those faux cacti glowing in the summer heat, that area is going to be amazing.
Launching as part of the main season opening for the theme park and resort, Frontier Falls promises an unforgettable adventure for guests of all ages in an exciting new Wild West themed land.
Theme park enthusiasts should prepare to saddle up and experience the excitement of the Wild West like never before!
Here’s what to expect within Frontier Falls:
The Falls Theatre

Falls Theatre is a state-of-the-art 4D venue showcasing an iconic Looney Tunes show. Guests will be transported to into the zany world of their favourite characters – Wile E Coyote & Road Runner – as part of a sensory experience
I can’t think of a more perfect show to put in this space completely bringing the area alive with some Looney Tunes flair and the facade looks stunning!
Blasting Barrels & Co ride

Packed full of sounds and effects this is an exciting Western twist on the classic teacup ride.
Whilst I loved the previous version of the ride with its Oktoberfest girl centrepiece this facade looks okay… I don’t think it pops as much as the previous one did and feels a little simple and on the safe side but it’ll surely be a ride that will compliment the area.
Sheriff’s Showdown

An interactive shoot-out ride to challenge coordination and reflexes.
Sheriff Showdown has had some love ahead of its reintroduction back into the park ride line-up.
I’m crossing my fingers for some interior refurbishment as it was feeling a little tired in places.
Wild West Area

Complete with the immersive Wild West Street that will transport thrill-seekers back in time to an era of cowboys, outlaws, and frontier towns.
You may even have to get ready to be a part of the daily shoot-out!
That last line certainly sounds as though we may be seeing roaming actors at some point and with the jail and other areas providing some great photo ops this is one area not to be missed!
With Rory’s Souvenirs providing some goodies for us all to purchase it seems like the shop facade is paying a tribute to the past.
Could Rory be leaving Drayton Manor Resort as a mascot with the shop name providing a fitting tribute to his departure? We shall see!
Victoria Lynn, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Resort, said:
“The opening of Frontier Falls truly showcases what a thrilling 2024 we have in store for Drayton Manor, marking our biggest year yet. We’re constantly evolving the resort to ensure we’re offering fun and excitement for all ages, and can’t wait to open the gates to the new land and embark on a Wild West adventure like no other.”
But the excitement doesn’t end there! Drayton Manor Resort is also delighted to announce that a NEW coaster will be joining the Western land, teasing even more thrills for guests in the near future.
What the name of that rollercoaster is remains to be seen but with the trains being spotted doing their pull-through the other week, it certainly looked like a mine train-style train design.
Calling the ride MineRace, Mineshaft Chase, GoldRush, Runaway Train or similar would make perfect sense to me with Goldrush being my personal favourite of the bunch.
The re-opening is just the start of what Drayton Manor has in store for 2024, marking its biggest year yet. To book your next visit, head to www.draytonmanor.co.uk/
