A collaboration between Jora Vision, ETF Ride Systems and Alterface as The Enchanted Greenhouse easily shoots to the top of the pile as the best dark ride within Six Flags Qiddiya City.
Walking into the beautifully luscious queue-line of The Enchanted Greenhouse tees you up for what you’re about to witness and it really is something special. From the push-button interactive elements within the queue to the floral arrangement as you navigate the queue and then watch a rather endearing pre-show before you board your beautiful ride vehicles equipped with dew sprayers.
As you navigate this trackless dark ride you’re immersed in the fantasy element of nature as cutting edge technology, physical sets and screens combine for a very fun dark ride experience.

Bioluminescene blooms and mushrooms tower above you, swirling vines wrap around the rock-work as you shoot at the screen or a variety of creatures to activate their animations.
It’s a fun experience with a very cool addition of a trackless Bee that chases you around one particular scene which is very clever indeed. It reminds me of the Scooby Doo chase sequence one at the ride within Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi.
It’s a beautiful ride it really is and the narration whilst a little annoying as it’s bouncing between two languages constantly (a slight distraction) does help multi-lingual guests.
Each scene really does come alive before your eyes and some are rather jaw-dropping.

There are mist effects and gentle breezes that add to the atmosphere but sadly no scents during my ride-through which would have complimented the ride tenfold.
I am told that scent machines have been installed but during my run-through they were absolutely switched off but keep in mind that I attended during a soft opening preview event so naturally this is the time where these things are being tested.
Get some scents in there and the ride would be incredible.

If there were any downsides to the ride I would say that the trigger on the dew sprayers was a little flimsy and the calibration of the sprayers with the screen was slightly off but it really didn’t matter, this is a ride that really doesn’t need you going around spraying things you could simply sit back and soak up the atmosphere and still have a wonderful time.
The Enchanted Greenhouse is suitable for all ages and is head and shoulders above the other dark ride located within the park named ‘Into the Deep.
Check out a full POV HERE of the ride experience but be warned, it will contain spoilers!
