Efteling have today revealed the name and design of their brand new attraction set to open this winter in the renewed Raveleijn themed world: Ravering.
Ravenring will take guests soaring through the air in winged vehicles inspired by ravens.
Ravenring is being built just outside the city walls of the magical city of Raveleijn. Visitors take their seats in one of the 18 winged vehicles and use a lever to decide how steeply their vehicle tilts. The many smooth movements and tilts create intensity and excitement. Here, flying skills and endurance are truly put to the test. Who is brave enough to protect the magical city of Raveleijn?
The attraction accommodates 36 visitors at a time and has a minimum height requirement of one metre. At the centre of the ring stands the Raven medallion. The attraction is decorated with banners and the five magical elements that are characteristic of Raveleijn. At the end of the ride, visitors discover which of the five magical elements suits them best: water (blue), fire (red), wood (green), earth (brown) or metal (purple).
I love how Efteling go above and beyond to immerse guests in the stories they create and it’s great to see this area undergo a complete transformation.
The Raveleijn show is also being complete revamped in collaboration with French them spark Puy du Fou, a completely new storyline and special effects are being introduced to this new show which will also open this winter.
Further details on both ride and new show will be announced later this year.
If you also zoom in on the concept art they look remarkably like Vekoma restraints… all will be revealed later this year!
