Another year, another Fright Nights. Halloween has come and gone and we’re already eagerly awaiting next years attractions. As part of the recent Fright Nights experience at Thorpe Park, I asked the incredible fans over at the THORPE PARK News & Discussions group on Facebook to rank their favourite scare mazes this season.

The poll consisted of 139 people who all voted on their favourite mazes. Thanks to everyone who voted and without further ado here are those poll results.
Thorpe Park Fright Nights Mazes Ranked
Creek Freak Massacre – 69.06% of the vote

Hacking their way into the old abandoned Creek Woods Saw Mill is a deranged family of lumberjacks. Hillbillies with chainsaws and it’s your job to take them on in the brand new Creek Freak Massacre.
Labelled as the most extreme Fright Nights attraction to date an overwhelming majority of you voted this as the no.1 maze of Thorpe Park Fright Nights.
With insane set detail, separating of groups and in your face moments to make you squeal. Creek Freak Massacre takes the crown as 2019’s best maze voted by you!
Platform 15 – 17.26% of the vote

Voted second in our poll was Platform 15. Depart on a one-way ticket along an overgrown haunted train track. The guys over at ScareTour said, “The finale of Platform 15 actually left us running out of the tunnel in fright!”
Blair Witch – 6.47% of the vote

Third, in our top Thorpe Park Fright Nights mazes was Blair Witch. With multiple changes including a new route, this immersive maze was a fan favourite for 2019. With amped tension and good jump scares the maze was a vast improvement on previous years.
Not everyone enjoyed the overgrown maze experience thou as Leah Killick was surprised by its third-place ranking and said “Blair?! All that happened was me eating bushes every five seconds!”
The Walking Dead Living Nightmare – 3.6% of the vote

With the introduction of The Whisperers, this maze took on a whole new level for 2019. The set designs seem to be the standout comments for this maze rather than the scares themselves thou. As a result, this maze was ranked one of the least scary at Thorpe Park this year.
The Walking Dead: Do or Die – 3.6% of the vote

Walking Dead Do or Die has always had a bad reputation. We were however surprised that both Walking Dead mazes were ranked joint least favourite. We had received various reports that the maze had vastly been improved and the acting was solid. Many actually said this was one of the best mazes of the night but our Thorpe Park enthusiasts certainly didn’t think so!
