Chessington Enchanted Hollow Christmas Review

Enchanted Hollow Christmas Chessington

Step inside the Enchanted Hollow and explore this underground village where you will meet lots of festive characters on your journey as you’re tasked with delivering letters to Santa from the inhabitants of the village.

This 15 minute journey has you stepping inside the former Creepy Caves Halloween scare maze that has been transformed into a family-friendly journey which began this Halloween and has now been revamped with a Christmas twist.

Instead of knocking one doors to claim your gifts unlike the Halloween event you now are in a Dungeon attraction style format where you walkthrough, stand at various scenes and interact with actors.

Some actors give you chocolate (god bless Merlin taking over Cadbury’s World operations in 2023) and some will gift the children with letters to deliver to Santa Claus.

The theming throughout was quite wonderful although I felt group size batching was a little bit too much with us stuck at the back of every single scene and we couldn’t hear the actors talking we just waited for them to finish and collected our chocolate bars.

What I did appreciate was the actors making sure that all the children were at the front of the group for every scene, that’s a nice touch meaning no child missed out on the interaction with each village character.

Lovely little costumes and quirky characters inhabit the village and with this particular experience being part of a £15 Christmas uncharge which included meeting Santa and a free toy I thought it was reasonably priced.

Note: These experiences exclude the entry to get into the park.

Gifted with our chocolate Rice Krispies squares for our troubles we exited the attraction with smiles on our faces, it was fun and the theming was nicely done with a joyous atmosphere scattered throughout.
