Europa Park has obliterated the competition at this year’s Golden Ticket Awards picking up the Best Theme Park Worldwide award, the Turnstile Award and the Best New Rollercoaster in the World award!
Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac was single-handedly the best rollercoaster I’ve done this year, I was so honoured and proud to be invited over to Europa Park to check out their latest creation and I was not disappointed, it blew me away and I knew that it wouldn’t be rivalled this year by anyone in the world. A very deserving winner of this year’s Best New Rollercoaster in the World award.
Not one, not two, but three awards for Europa-Park: On 7. September 2024, Europa-Park was honoured for the ninth time as ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’ with the industry’s highest accolade, the Golden Ticket Award.

After 2014 to 2022, Germany’s largest theme park once again beat renowned theme parks such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. The jury further presented the ‘Turnstile Award’ (Publisher’s Pick) for the reconstruction of the Austrian-themed area with ‘Alpenexpress Enzian’ and ‘Tirol Log Flume’, which was completed within one year.
The awards from the international trade magazine ‘Amusement Today’ were presented at the American theme park ‘Kennywood’ in Pennsylvania.

Despite the strong competition, especially in the USA, the high-calibre jury saw the family-run company from Baden as the winner. They emphasised the large number of high-quality attractions at Europa-Park, which offer a great experience for visitors thanks to the park’s top-level operation.
The experts were also impressed by the mix of traditional rides and digital content as well as the first-class entertainment, catering and accommodation on offer. The jury further emphasised the exceptional commitment to the direct reconstruction of the Austrian-themed area with the ‘Magical Valley of Diamonds’.

Voltron’s immaculate creation featuring the world’s steepest launch (105 degrees) combines incredible storytelling with a thrilling and quite unique experience as the world was introduced to its first ever ‘Stryker Coaster’ developed by parent company Mack Rides.
